| Glen Ellyn, Illinois, March 1, 2000 -- Altima Technologies, Inc. and Autodesk
Inc. have partnered to expand and enhance the design and diagramming capabilities
of Autodesk's Actrix Technical 2000 through Altima's NetZoom™ For
Actrix. NetZoom™ For Actrix facilitates the quick, accurate and easy
creation of network equipment shapes and networks in the areas of computers,
cable, data and telecommunications that maximize visualization and functionality
of the Actrix 2000 host application. |
| NetZoom™ can assemble over 25,000+ network equipment shapes on
demand, with yearly updates of 5,000 to ensure users a comprehensive real-time
solution. The assembled shapes include embedded information presented to
the user to highlight the benefits of the equipment, such as slot/card level
and port level intelligence. "Our development partners play a key role
in extending the reach of our products, and we've been working closely with
them to ensure that a wide range of high-quality, industry-specific applications
and ActiveShapes libraries are available soon after Actrix Technical 2000
begins shipping." said Dave Arsenault, director of Autodesk's Actrix.

| NetZoom™ is powered by Altima's equipment server, an organizer
and categorizer engine that consumes only 50MB of disk space as opposed
to the 500+MB of disk space consumed using traditional stencil type configurations.
NetZoom™ allows users to shorten the network diagramming process
and increase productivity. According to Autodesk's February 2, 2000, press
